I have been a student of music for 2 years, but have played since I was 6 years old. My musical influences include classic and modern rock, and I also enjoy classical music. My teaching style can best be described as relaxed. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I try to understand each student's problems and help them personally. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to read music, either on staff or tablature, pieces of music that will improve your skills, and music of your own choosing. I like to tell my students that they can express themselves musically. My favorite thing about teaching is watching my students grow as musicians. My favorite performance was Prelude No. 1 by Heitor Villa-Lobos. I primarily teach classical guitar, but I can also teach electric guitar and piano. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
