Years of Experience: 15 years of playing exper Location Options: In Home Travel Radius: 15 miles Genres: Rock, Blues, Country, Acoustic Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Guitar Lessons Overview: I use a fast-track method of introducing basic left and right hand techniques, scales, and chords in order to have the student playing actual songs in a very short time, typically less than a month. Going forward, techniques are taught and presented with an example of the technique in a song so the student both learns to apply technique in a melodic way as well as helping keep the exercises fun. Formal Education: I've taken and passed Music Theory 201 and can teach theory and how to read. Performing Experience: 8 years of gigging experience for various hard rock/metal bands such as Kimura, Disciples of Dawn, and Septikos. Experience Teaching: 6 years experience working with students from age 5 to age 55, from bare-bones beginner to intermediate skill levels.
