Over the years, she had dedicated her life to the study of music including getting a PhD! She gained performance experience internationally as an opera singer but has performed in musical theater and jazz styles as well. Though Alison can teach many genres of music, her musical personal favorite is medieval music which she specializes in and has performed with internationally renown groups like Sequentia and the Boston Camerata. Alison loves music because of its ability to open the mind and impact the soul and loves teaching music because music is for everyone.
