Estevan's Music Lessons (Orchestral, Piano)

Years of Experience: 9 Location Options: In Studio, In Home Travel Radius: 20-30 Genres: Classical Age Groups: Children, Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Keyboard and Piano Lessons,Orchestral Lessons Overview: I was born and raised here in El Paso, I was inspired by my cousins to get involved in music and I took up trumpet as my first instrument. In 8th grade I was switched to tuba because we had no tuba player to begin with. I never looked back and I have loved making music ever since and have decided to pursue a professional career as a professional tuba player. My schedule changes constantly so please contact me and I'm sure we can find a time that will work for both of us. Formal Education: High school degree from Bel-Air High School, as well as 4 years of music education here at Utep. Private Education: I have had more than 4 years of private lessons from Steve Haddad the professor of tuba and euphonium at Utep and I've also had private instruction from Thomas Bough Professor of Tuba at Northern Illinois University as well as Mike Roylance who is the Principal tubist for the Boston symphony orchestra. Performing Experience: I have performed with the marching miner regiment under the direction of T Andre Feagin as well as the Utep Symphony band also conducted by professor Feagin. I've also performed with the Utep symphonic winds conducted by Dr. Ron Hufstader and more recently with the Utep symphony orchestra conducted by Dr. Lowell Graham. Experience Teaching: I have always helped my peers with their etudes all region music as well as the solo and ensemble rep. I've also recently started working with Bowie High school working with the low brass section there. That being said I am completely willing to help any student get a head start in things like music theory, piano basics, learning CC tuba or F tuba or even help you find your own instrument to purchase.
