I am a former elementary school teacher with a Masters degree and PhD in Special Education. I provide 1-1 support for students who need of all ages in the following areas: reading, writing, math, SEL (Social Emotional Learning), Self-Regulation, Resiliency Skills, Executive Function, and French. I am also open to teaching small classes or workshops on any of these topics if there is an interest/need. All services are available virtually or in-person, depending on preference.

Abby worked for us for at least 5 years both as a regular sitter and as a tutor for our now 10-year-old daughter. The girls absolutely adore Abby, and whenever I tell them she's coming to babysit, they can't wait for us to leave and her to come! Abby stays engaged with the kids, doing crafts or taking them out to keep them entertained and engaged. She enjoys children and is excellent with them--and it shows! She's also an incredible tutor, especially given her experience as a former teacher in the regular classroom and special ed classrooms. Our daughter's grades and test scores improved significantly after her work with Abby. We couldn't recommend Abby highly enough. You'd be lucky to have her!
