My name is Abby, and I am a 28-year-old recently retired professional ballerina with 10 years of experience performing in New York City, Washington, D. C., and Hong Kong. In 2024, I transitioned from ballet after marrying my husband, a U. S. Marine, and we are now stationed in Virginia. I grew up in a close-knit Christian household with three sisters, my twin and I being the youngest. At 16, my twin and I moved to New York City on scholarship to train at the American Ballet Theatre, which shaped my discipline, perseverance, and love for working with others. Since retiring, I've discovered a true passion for teaching and childcare. I taught ballet to ages 4-18 and have cared for my six nieces and nephews, from newborns to 12 years old.
