About Abby

Hi, I'm Abby! I have years of experience working with children in a variety of settings-from babysitting and teaching swim lessons to coaching, camp counseling, and working as a peer mentor during college. I graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a degree in Elementary Education, where I was also a student-athlete, campus leader, and community volunteer. Along with my childcare experience, I have my EMT, CPR/First Aid certified, and lifeguard trained, so safety is always a top priority. I love creating fun, engaging activities that keep kids active, whether it's swimming, arts and crafts, games, or outdoor adventures. Families describe me as responsible, energetic, and caring. I'm also comfortable helping with homework, meal prep, and pets, and I strive to make every child feel safe, supported, and excited when I'm around. I am also looking to provide private swim lessons.
