About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abigail. I am a student at UAB. I am currently studying pre-med biology on a full academic scholarship. I plan to go to medical school and become a family physician, and one day own my own practice. I have had experience watching children from newborn to 13 years old for 7 years. I am first aid and CPR certified, and have worked at a nursing home as an activities aide for over three years, and for my local Board of Education as a contract teacher for over 2 years! In both of my jobs I've been educated on how to handle behaviors properly and safely. I love activities, crafts, and outings. I also have overnight experience! My previous job experiences have lead me to realize I have a passion for caring for children. I hope to take my learned knowledge and use it to shape my family medical clinic one day.
