About Abigail

I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic, and adaptable. I like working with kids because their curiosity and imagination is so fascinating. Kids see the world in such a unique way and I enjoy seeing them grow in those experiences. I'm a kid at heart myself, so I love to play and color and to do anything to join in that imagination. I started working with kids when I began babysitting for families at my church around age 13. Since then, I have continued picking up babysitting jobs all over my community, work part-time at a daycare and plan to continue working with kids when I come a pediatric psychologist. In my spare time, I like to do anything involving the outdoors-- hiking, kayaking, fishing, you name it. I also love to read and listen to/play music. I also volunteer for an organization where I visit children's hospitals dressed as beloved childhood characters.
