About Abigail

As the oldest of four siblings, I grew up taking care of children in my own home. With an appreciation for childcare already ingrained in me, in high school I took an after school job at a daycare/preschool. I took up odd jobs as well: working as a mother's helper for a summer and volunteering at local preschools and middle schools for homework help. For the past eight months, after graduating college, I worked as a part-time nanny for a 4-year-old, assisting in preschool pick-up and meal prep. I frequently facilitated nanny shares, taking care of 2-4 children at a time. Starting in June, I will be working as a middle school public teacher while getting my masters in education.
