About Abigail

Having worked with students from late elementary to undergraduate levels, as well as activities outside of the traditional classroom, I have developed an aptitude for strategic communication and student-centered planning. In my capacity as student leader, educator, researcher, and mentor, I foster intellectual curiosity and creativity so that others are supported, heard, and safely challenged. I collaborated with a team to develop and implement numerous community events throughout my tenure as a student. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University with a BA in English and Secondary Education, followed by The University of Alabama with an MA in Literature, I am now the university's Regional Recruiter for Dallas and East Texas. I enjoy working in student-centered environments with community-driven approaches to success.
