I've had several ongoing babysitting jobs since my teens, as well as volunteer experience with Girl Scouts, which made me realize my love for working with children early on in my life. They make every day rewarding and exciting! For the past 2 years, I've worked with the Boys and Girls Clubs as a tutor within Public School. I help students with learning challenges reach grade level by assessing their learning needs, developing fun curricula, and practicing reading and writing skills. In addition, I've worked with a college readiness program through UW-Madison. I help students with homework problems, help deliver real-world skillsets and lessons, and assist with the college application process. Through my employment, I've taken numerous trainings including Youth Professional Development, Conflict Resolution, Group Engagement, Child Abuse and Safety, and Sexual Harassment, among others. Ultimately, I plan to pursue a career as a youth educator within a public museum.
