Hello! My name is Adonia, and I'm a compassionate caregiver with experience supporting elderly adults, including individuals with special needs and dementia. I'm a certified Med Tech and can assist with toileting, hygiene care, light meal preparation, medication assistance, mobility support, and companionship. My caregiving style is calm, patient, and focused on helping each person feel safe, respected, and comfortable. My passion for elder care began when I supported my great-grandmother through her dementia journey--prepping meals, assisting with hygiene, taking walks, and engaging her in meaningful activities like puzzles, coloring, and other gross/ fine-motor tasks. In addition to senior care, I hold a Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis and have 9 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, which has strengthened my skills in person-centered care.
