About Aiko

Aiko has been with our family from February 2025 to November 2025, and in those months, she has truly become an integral part of our family. If it weren’t for our upcoming relocation to Austin, TX, we would absolutely continue working with her—we are very sad to lose her. She is punctual, reliable, and trustworthy, with a sense of integrity that shines through in everything she does. One of the things I most appreciate about Aiko is how intentional she is with L development. She taught our baby L how to fall safely on her bottom instead of backwards, and how to climb down from furniture and stairs backwards—skills that have given L so much more confidence and safety. It’s clear how much she truly cares for L, and the bond they’ve built is beautiful to witness. Aiko has also been incredibly generous and thoughtful. For L first birthday, she not only helped us set up but also brought Japanese cultural traditions, such as Tanabata decorations, Kingyo-sukui (goldfish scooping), and fun party games that all the kids loved. She weaves her culture into everyday care as well—singing Japanese nursery rhymes and speaking Japanese with our energetic daughter. I love that L is exposed to language and traditions in such a joyful and natural way. On top of her excellent care for L, Aiko is also great about helping around the house, often stepping in to make things easier for us without being asked. Her presence has brought so much peace of mind, support, and joy to our household. We are so grateful for Aiko and cannot recommend her enough. Any family would be lucky to have her!
