About Aine Mikaela

I'm a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology who loves spending time with children. I enjoy engaging kids in child-led play, following their interests while providing calm, supportive care. I value partnering with caregivers and supporting families in ways that feel natural, thoughtful, and reassuring. I have experience caring for infants and children with a wide range of needs, including developmentally complex children, autistic children and children with feeding and communication differences. I bring a sensory, communication, and relationship-focused perspective to my babysitting, paying close attention to how each child communicates, what helps them feel calm and regulated, and how to build trust through connection and play. I'd describe my personality as playful, warm, and attentive. My goal is for children to feel safe and have fun, and for parents to feel confident and at ease while they're away. I work closely with caregivers to meet each family's individual needs.
