Hey There! My name is Akhyra. I've been working with children since I was old enough to start working (getting my first job at a summer camp at 15). I studied Early Education and Care at my vocational high school Minuteman Tech. Once I graduated I became a certified infant, toddler and preschool teacher. I am also First Aid/CPR certified. I have worked as both a primary Infant teacher and a primary Toddler teacher in the daycare/school setting with Bright Horizons and the YMCA's Early Learning Center and now have been nannying for the past 5+ years. I love children! Seeing them grow everyday and knowing that I got the amazing opportunity to be apart of their development and learning process is very fulfilling for me. Akhyra has exceeded all of our expectations. She has nannied for our son 3 days per week since he was about 5 months old and hit the ground running with him. She is very creative with making some toys and art projects and is always striving to help him with milestones like crawling and sign language. Our son lights up whenever he sees her and spends lots of time outdoors when the weather is nice. She is dependable and we highly recommend her!
