About Alana

I am a special education teacher and I am working on my sixth year of teaching. I have worked with the birth through 5-year-old range for three years. I also hold a master's degree in education in this area. I am working on my third year of teaching at the high school level (I also hold a master's degree in education in this area). I also have experience with children with Down's syndrome and other developmental delays, but am fully aware that all children, no matter what there ability level, have individual needs. I am eager to help all children learn, as I am aware all children have individualized academic needs and learning styles. I have done educational consulting in the past.
