I like animals more than people. Don't get me wrong, pet owner reading this - I like you. But I like your cat/guinea pig/iguana more. I think animals are generally focused on what I consider more important issues like survival, compassion, and the pursuit of beneficially stimulating activities. That's why I like hanging out with them! I worked at my local zoo in Montgomery, Alabama as a high schooler while taking care of my own guinea pigs, hamsters, and cats. I'm currently a father to two awesome cats. One thing to know about me is I am not afraid to ask questions. Although I can be a stupid person, I earnestly believe there are no such questions. I'm a curious and careful problem solver, and I try not to judge. My pet care skills include de-griming dirty animals (short of "grooming" but they'll be real clean ); providing enrichment that actually enriches (pet-specific, not laser pointers); and attention to detail (careful eye on animal behavior to clock mood and health).
