About Alejandra

Hi! My name is Alejandra (Ale), and I have an extensive experience working with children of all ages. I grew up caring for three siblings, cousins and have years of experience babysitting and tutoring. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. I also worked as a medical assistant for a year and half in a pediatric facility, which strengthened my ability to care for children with patience, attentiveness, and compassion. I'm currently a substitute teacher and a graduate student at Hunter College, pursuing my masters in Early Childhood Education with a bilingual certification. I truly enjoy teaching, supporting and encouraging children as they work through challenges and reach their goals. I love engaging kids in fun and meaningful activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, reading, dancing, movie time, and helping with homework or studying when needed. My goal is always to create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where children feel supported and confident.
