About Alesha

I am an experienced K-12 educator with over 10 years of experience, certified in elementary education for grades K-6. My expertise extends to early literacy, supported by my training in the Science of Reading through the federally recommended LETRS program. I am passionate about making learning both effective and enjoyable, and I place a strong emphasis on fostering positive relationships with students. I have gained experience teaching all grades and subjects in elementary education. My approach is grounded in research-based methods inspired by educational theorists such as John Hattie, Lev Vygotsky, and Jean Piaget. I design engaging and personalized learning experiences tailored to each student's unique learning style. I have a bachelor's and master's degrees in elementary education and curriculum and instruction. Currently, I pursuing a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction. My experiences include K-12 teaching, coaching, tutoring mentoring and supporting fellow educators.
