About Alesia

I'd describe myself as fun, sparky, & caring. I love teaching, especially the sciences. I have taught high school chemistry, biology, genetics, basic physics, & forensics. I'm a nerd that is excited to create the love of science in others. I no longer teach school, but am in business. I miss teaching & the interactions with students, especially teenagers! I want to tutor to help others, not as a second income. I want to help students who are struggling and I love making complex subjects easier & interesting for others to understand. I started teaching at 22 & taught sciences to a variety of grade levels. Even in now in my business career, I am a trainer or tutor others. My kids are grown, and miss having kids/teenagers around that's why I want to tutor! One thing you should know is that I don't sugarcoat things. I will tell the student & their family if he/she is not doing their part. I'm good with kids of all ages & am very understanding and flexible.
