Hi my name is Alexa and I have a passion for teaching. I am currently enrolled in Moorpark Community College majoring in Early childhood education. I have loved teaching since I was just a kid helping my little brother with multiplication. Over the summer I worked as a preschool co-teacher for 3-4-year-olds to help caretake and teach the 15 lovely students in my class. My school was Reggio Emilia inspired giving kids the creativity and independence to flourish. I would describe myself as a patient problem solver. I have ADHD so I am no stranger to having to find new ways to learn and excel in school.
