About Alexa

Hi there! My name is Alexa, and I specialize in helping children strengthen their reading comprehension skills through patience, encouragement, and individualized support. I have hands-on experience working with elementary and middle school students, including children with learning disabilities and behavioral challenges. I previously worked as a Medical Behavior Assistant and at a middle school for students with learning disabilities, where I developed strong skills in adapting lessons to meet each child's unique learning style. My approach focuses on building confidence, understanding story structure, expanding vocabulary, and improving focus while making reading fun and engaging.
