About Alexandra

Hello! My name is Alex, and I am a 27-year-old long term substitute teacher and teachers assistant at SM School. I have a Bachelor's in Music from Berklee, have a passion for teaching, and am currently in the process of attaining my English and Music teaching licenses. I would love to work one on one with kids to help foster their confidence and help them grow in the subjects they struggle with. Having worked in the food service industry for years before teaching I feel very comfortable with meeting new people and making them feel safe and supported. I would love the opportunity to get to know your children and help them maximize their potential and curate a learning environment that brings joy to education. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, introspective, and compassionate. I'm looking for a job that is all about personal connection and attaining goals, both mine and my clients'. In my spare time, I like to bake, read, sing, and spend time with family and friends.
