About Alexandra

As an older sister of two (4yo and 14yo) I have always been passionate about children - playing, exploring, interacting and helping them grow and succeed in their own little big battles! I am a current graduate student in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University which has definitely opened my eyes significantly about what it means to be a caregiver. I also have two-year experience of nannying two boys (3yo and 6yo). My desire to work with children has persisted with time, so much so that I would like to do that professionally one day. I always make sure to follow the family's lead when it comes to routines and rules and the children's when choosing a story to read or a game to play! I feel comfortable caring for two children at a time and I am happy to help with studying, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I am fluent in English and Spanish and I am excited to bring warm energy and be of help to a family that feels we're a good match!
