About Alexandra

With eight years of experience, I offer a unique approach to child care, integrating psychological [Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)] and meditative practices, creating a broad and mature solution to childcare and child development. My childcare methods emphasize mindfulness to help cultivate self-reliance, assurance, and focus. This approach fosters a sense of purpose and curiosity. I also incorporate DBT techniques to help children develop emotional regulation, resilience, and cognitive flexibility. These principles are woven into play, worksheets, conversations, and activities that I carefully design to deliver these results. At the heart of my work is the intention to build a safe and reliable bond with your child. I am pivoting in my career by pursuing a writing and building a character based merchandise brand. While developing these endeavors, and relocating to the city, I am choosing to work in a field I find rewarding- childcare and child development.
