About Alexandria

Hi, my name is Alexandria. I'm a childcare professional with 9 years of hands-on childcare experience caring for infants, young children, and preteens. I volunteer for a "get out of poverty" program for adults as the childcare director. The program goes for 22 weeks at a time and I am in charge of up to 15 children ranging in ages 1-12. I'm patient, dependable, and very attentive to children's needs and routines, and I can handle anything thrown at me. I prioritize safety, enrichment, and a warm, familiar environment. I'm great with meals, cleaning up, nap schedules, and especially activities. I have a 2-year-old so I am a master diaper-er and tantrum absorber. I understand how important trust is when it comes to your child, and I take that responsibility seriously. I'm reliable, communicative, and respectful of each family's preferences. I'm currently seeking part-time or occasional childcare opportunities and would love to support a family looking for consistent, caring help.
