About Alexa

Hi! Here is a little about myself! I began working with children at 16 while babysitting during high school. During that time, I took Early Childhood Education courses, worked in my high school's preschool program, and earned my CDA certification. After graduating, I worked in aftercare with a mixed-age group of Pre-K through 2nd grade students. I later became a 1st grade teacher, and I am currently a Lead VPK teacher while pursuing my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I would describe myself as outgoing, caring, and nurturing, and I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and discover new things each day. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and am certified in infant and child CPR. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to concerts, visiting Disney, and listening to music. I am looking for a long-term position in a supportive and positive environment as I continue my education.
