Being born into a family of heartfelt animal lovers naturally left me unable to consider a "house as a home" without at least 1 animal present. I cherish memories from my childhood where my mother and I cared for two dozen outside cats and nearly 10 dogs that we happily shared our home with. Our "Cat Colony" thrived while being loyally fed, showered with affection, seasonally sheltered, and routinely provided with preventative fertility care via our local vet. Any dogs that weren't already part of the family before I was born, seemingly chose us, as if they could sense a safe haven. From Dachshunds to Huskies, if they were expected to be discarded by a family friend or wandering the streets and ran into my mother's open car door, our front door was open to them without hesitation. Lasting imprints from my childhood memories like these have materialized in my adulthood as genuine capability and willingness to care for other's animals when they are in need of a helping hand.

Alexa is amasing. I originally reached out to her to assist me with packing up a lot of our house as we are moving. She is extremely thoughtful with how she packs and treats our belongings. She went above and beyond with ensuring breakables were wrapped to eliminate any potential breaking during the move. She also helped us move boxes to our storage unit and even offered to use her car for some of our bigger hauls. She has come over to help multiple times and does an excellent job cleaning and tidying up to help us bring down organization to our hectic house! Another amasing thing about her is her babysitting skills! As a first time mom to a 5 month old, I was super hesitate to have anyone help with him. (Which is why I originally asked her to come help pack while I stayed with my baby). However that didn't last long because she is SO GOOD with our baby! She plays with him, walks him around the house, feeds him and lets him sleep on her. And she makes him smile and laugh! HUGE for me as I was so nervous. Now we will leave him with her while me and my husband go do errands. She has been SO extremely helpful and I'll continue to have her over to help with so many different things around our house and in our life.
