Hello families! My name is Alexis and I am new to Duval County. I am a graduate student at the University of North Florida getting my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to become a children's play therapist. Prior to this, I earned a double bachelors degree in Criminal Justice & Psychology. I served as a student intern with the United States Department of Homeland Security during this time. For the last 5 years I have held some role at a grief center for children who have lost a parent or sibling. Having my own personal loss, I pour love into kids experiencing a traumatic life event everyday. I have over 1000 hours in child development, trauma, or play training. I truly believe I was put on this earth to help children. I have been told I have a "magic dust" with children, being able to understand them. I would love to babysit/nanny for a family here because I love being apart of children's lives. It is a highlight of mine.

Alexis confirmed for an all-day sitting service. Prior to the service Alexis was not responsive within the messenger- as she did not respond to any of my messages in over a three-day time period. Then day of service- Alexis was a no show which resulted in our entire's day plans/events being cancelled.
