About Alexis

Hello! My name is Alexis. Over the past 13 years I have been a dance teacher, camp counselor, tutor, nanny and day care assistant. My most recent work as a Behavioral Therapist working with children who are autistic, has allowed me to bring together my education and my passion for helping children feel empowered in their abilities and helping them and their families to learn new skills to foster their growth & development. Working with children all of these years has truly been one of the greatest joys of my life. I admire children's curiosity, playfulness, and imagination and strive to incorporate that into my life regularly. In my free time I love experimenting with baking recipes and trying new foods. I love to go on long walks through my community or go on hikes. My favorite thing to do is spending time with my nieces and nephew. I am currently on a journey towards medical school, hoping to be a Pediatrician one day and taking steps everyday towards that goal!
