About Alexis

I'm Alexis, a student at East Carolina University, and I'm moving to Raleigh this summer to begin a nutrition internship with NC State football. I've grown up around animals and have always had a deep love for caring for them. My family currently has four dogs, and I have two cats of my own. I spent a year working at the Humane Society during COVID and have also volunteered with local equine therapy programs. Over the years, I've regularly pet- and house-sat for friends and family-everything from quick drop-ins for feeding and walks to extended overnight stays. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as cats, birds, and even guinea pigs. I truly enjoy looking after pets and understand how important they are to a family.
