About Alexis

I have over 11 years of experience babysitting and tutoring for multiple families, working with children of all ages and learning needs. I'm currently a 6th and 8th grade ELA teacher in a public school, where I create engaging lessons that support reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. Previously, I taught 6th and 7th grade ELA and math for two years, and I have also taught math for grades 2-5. My experience across grade levels allows me to tailor instruction to each child's unique learning style and academic goals. I'm passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong study habits, and reach their full potential in a supportive and encouraging environment.
