About Alicia

Nurturing children and watching them blossom has always been my passion. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. I am also a Certified Teacher, and I have worked in public school settings with students preschool to middle school. I have 4 grown children. I was also a Girl Scout troop leader for 10 years. I have experience with busy schedules. My approach is patient and creative. I love engaging children with games and educational activities. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and believe in open communication with parents. I provide written daily reports and verbal updates at pickup, and I am happy to follow your preferred method of communication. I can also assist with cooking, housekeeping, and carpooling, and crafts. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
