When I was two, apparently I dragged a brick into the living room while visiting family in Wisconsin. My grandfather saw this & commented, "She's going to be the one who takes care of everybody." Caring for others has always given me purpose, meaning, & has brought so much love & light to my days. What I've learned in the 23 years of being a registered nurse is astounding. I've learned about strength despite illness/disability. I've learned to ALWAYS keep moving forward. I love listening to patient/client stories & finding out what gave their life meaning & purpose. In my spare time, I like to walk/hike. I'm also a beekeeper & a potter. My peace is kayaking the backwaters of Massachusetts and NH. My skills include: Advocating for my patients/clients, listening, empathy, & incorporating art in any form to enrich and inspire.

Alison is the most compassionate, caring, intuitive, outrageously, amusing, competent human being. She cared For my aunt during the last six months of her life, and I will be forever grateful for not only her knowledge and calmness, but the support for me and my family she gave so easily. Allison is that rare person we all think doesn’t exist out there. She brings her entire authentic self to the job and everything she does. She is trustworthy to a fault and not only cared for my aunt in so many ways I hadn’t expected, but cared for me as well by anticipating my needs and making sure I had the space I needed, which I will forever appreciate. She was flexible with her time, generous with her spirit and tireless in her ability to bring some joy To some very difficult days.
