My name is Alivia, I provide in person (local library) and virtual, reading, writing, and math tutoring, homework support, and enrichment for kindergarten through 8th grade. I meet students where they are, no matter where they may be in their academics. I believe all students can learn, but at a different pace and with different amounts of support. My favorite part of tutoring is having an opportunity to work with students in a one on one setting and watching them learn and in a more relaxed setting. I have been working in the education field for the last 19 years and I currently teach 2nd grade. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with focuses in mathematics and language arts from Eastern Michigan University in Michigan and a Master of Science degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University in Minnesota. I was named as an Ann Arbor Public Schools Exceptional Teacher in 2017.
