About Aliza

I am starting my 21st year as a a third grade teacher. 11 years ago I finished my Masters degree in Education. I truly love working with children daily. Before I started teaching, I was a summer nanny and worked for a nanny agency in New York as a live-in nanny for many summers. I have spent the last 16 years as a part time nanny on my own and with nanny agencies. I have cared for newborn twins, infants, toddlers and school-aged children. I have also done 1-2 week live in positions throughout Maine, North Carolina and New York. I am currently working for a couple of families in Maine as a date night nanny and part time during my vacations. The last 5 summers and school vacations I worked for many families traveling to Maine on vacation and as a wedding nanny. I have many resorts in Maine that use me as their wedding or vacation nanny. I am now booking for vacations in 2026 date nights and a vacationing nanny.

We loved Aliza! She was so professional and friendly. We were a little nervous because my toddler can be a bit shy and does not have a lot of experience with new people or daycare. Aliza was so warm and friendly and my daughter immediately took to her and didn't even notice when we left. She checked in with us frequently to keep us updated. Our toddler had so much fun with her and was obviously very comfortable with her. We would absolutely recommend Aliza to anyone, she was amazing! She made an experience we thought would be stressful go as smoothly as possible so we could enjoy the event we were attending and not have to worry.
