Hi! I'm passionate about working with children of all ages and abilities. As the oldest of five, caregiving has always come naturally. I earned my bachelor's in sociology and began my career as a mental health counselor for kids. After working at Taylorville North School, I fell in love with the students and staff and transitioned into education. I began substituting and was accepted into SIUE's master's program for special education last summer. This year, I've had the joy of teaching nine amazing students diagnosed with autism. I'll continue as a special education teacher in the fall, but I'm currently seeking summer caregiving jobs.
