About Allison

I'd describe my personality as dependable, creative, attentive and kind. I am the oldest of 7 children and am currently raising three children of my own (now teens), so children have been an important part of my entire life. I have a bachelor's degree in nursing and a minor in music. I worked for several years as a registered nurse in pediatrics and newborn intensive care before becoming a full-time parent. I have been a reading tutor in the local elementary school for the last few years and am very comfortable tutoring in reading, writing, science and mathematics. I am a great piano practice buddy. When I am not busy meeting the needs of my children, I teach toddler swimming lessons and enjoy digital scrapbooking. I'm looking for a job that will enable me to save some money to take my kids on a few adventurous vacations. One thing you should know about me is I enjoy spending time with kids. I love reading to them, doing crafts, helping them learn and interacting with them.
