My mother has Alzheimer’s. Allyson gets her out of bed in the morning, shower/cleans/toilets her, gives her pills, feeds her, and then does activities/walking with her for the rest of the morning. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty. She makes my mom smile and laugh. And that’s hard to do. She also, when we need a night off,, has done dinner and evening walk/ entertainment, and gets my mom ready for bed. We are so grateful for her. And consider her part of our family now.
