About Althea

I'm a trained Medical Assistant with hands-on experience providing compassionate care to older adults, including individuals living with Alzheimer's and dementia. My medical background has equipped me with essential skills like monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring my patients' comfort and safety. Beyond my clinical experience, I've also had the privilege of working closely with people with disabilities. I coached a Special Olympics team, which taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting care to each individual's unique needs. These combined experiences have given me a deep sense of dedication to helping people live with dignity, respect, and joy.
