About Alycia

Hi, I'm Alycia. I'm a full time nanny with over 12 years of experience and a degree in Early Childhood Development. I've worked with children of all ages and have experience as both a preschool teacher and a private nanny. I create in home preschool programs using play based learning, early literacy, and gentle routines. Matilda is one of my favorite books, and families often say I remind them of Miss Honey. I bring a calm and nurturing energy to my work and love helping children feel safe and seen. My favorite age to start with is newborn through toddler. I enjoy meaningful outings like farm visits or trips to the store with their own cart and list, tying them into what we are learning at home. I lead with patience and intention and support families with child related tasks like organizing, light cleaning, and meal prep. I'd describe myself as warm, nurturing, and grounded. I also enjoy photography, reading, paddleboarding, and spending time with my son.
