About Alyssa

I like tutoring because I get to utilize my teaching experience to support students in a one-to-one setting, ultimately giving them the extra individualized attention they need to meet their academic goals. I started working with elementary students in 2018, as a Playground Supervisor. I have since worked in public education for the last 6 years as an Afterschool Leader and Elementary Teacher of 5th grade students. Currently, I work at a private highschool as a Swim Coach! My skills include growth mindset, subject knowledge, and problem solving. I'd describe my personality as creative, intelligent, and positive. In my spare time, I like to bake and read! It'd be a pleasure to work together to support your children with their learning goals.
