I am a New York State certified nursing assistant. I have always had a strong connection with senior citizens due to my Grandmother being a strong influence and role model in my life. I feel that seniors are more enjoyable to be around and I sincerely love working with them. I'm very comfortable working with seniors and I have 8 years experience working within this field. I worked in an assisted living community and was trained in a Northwell affiliated nursing home. I have provided home care for about 20 patients throughout my time working as a CNA. I graduated from Molloy University in 2023 with my Bachelor's degree in Social Work and I am currently pursing my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. I am not available to work Tuesday and Thursday. Looking for Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Saturday and Sunday as needed (Does not need to be a consistent schedule) About 20 hours per week (hours can vary). Will accept one-time jobs or as a fill-in aide.

We hired Alyssa to be a companion/care giver for my elderly mother, with Alzheimers. She was wonderful with her and our whole family. Honest & trustworthy!!! She would drive my mom to appointments as needed and take her out for walks etc. Help her with bathing & dressing, cleaning & laundry, medications and meal prep. As her schedule changed for school she was unable to fill the time we needed someone, but we still use Alyssa for evenings & weekends if she's available. She has become part of our family!!
