About Alyssa

Hi! I've been a special education teacher for over 15 years and recently stepped away to spend more time with my husband & kids. But the longer I'm out of the classroom, the more I realize how much I miss caring for and teaching children--so here I am! I'm a mom of an energetic 7-year-old girl and a gentle 4-year-old boy. Depending on schedules, my son may occasionally be with me- he loves being around other kids and fits in easily. I've been babysitting, nannying, and tutoring children of all ages since I was a teen. I hold a bachelor's in Elementary Education, a master's in Severe & Profound Special Education, and a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. I'm a loving, patient, and fun caregiver who enjoys getting kids out and about, exploring new places, crafting, reading, and playing. We had a wonderful nanny for years, so I understand what families need--and as a mom, I know how much a helping hand can lighten the load. I'd love to support your family however I can!
