About Alyumar

Alejandra (as we call her) has been caring for our son since he was 7 months old. I was extremely nervous to have someone care for my baby as any parent I'm sure can relate, but she entered our lives as a complete blessing with so much love. She was with us while J. went through his "separation anxiety" phase and he only wanted mom...or Alejandra. She is such a beautiful presence in our home and we truly could not have been luckier to find her. Beyond showing so much love, patience, and tenderness with our son, which is the most important, she has also been pivotal in his development and it's incredible how much he has learned with her. I truly can't say enough good things about her. My mother is retiring to watch our son and, well, Grandma always wins :) But Alejandra has had such a positive impact on our son's life that we still have her care for him for various occasions. Alejandra (como nosotros la llamamos) ha cuidado de nuestro hijo desde que tenía 7 meses. Estaba muy nerviosa por tener a alguien que cuidara de mi bebé, como seguramente cualquier padre puede entender, pero ella llegó a nuestras vidas como una bendición con tanto amor. Estuvo con nosotros mientras J. pasaba por su fase de "ansiedad por separación" y él solo quería a su mamá... o a Alejandra. Es una presencia tan hermosa en nuestro hogar y realmente no podríamos haber tenido más suerte de encontrarla. Además de mostrar tanto amor, paciencia y ternura con nuestro hijo, que es lo más importante, también ha sido fundamental en su desarrollo y es increíble lo mucho que ha aprendido con ella. De verdad que no tengo palabras para describirla. Mi mama se jubila para cuidar a nuestro hijo y, bueno, la abuela siempre gana, pero como tuvo un impacto tan positivo con nuestro hijo no podemos partir de ella y todavia nos cuida a J. en varias ocaciones.
