About Amanda

Hello! Nurturing young minds and fostering their development is one of my passions. For the past 10 years, I've had the great opportunity of caring and teaching children ages 1-11 in various home and school settings. I graduated from Western Washington University with my Bachelor's of Art in Education and bring my Early Childhood Education coursework and experience as a Certified Teacher to my care. My approach is patient and creative, and I love engaging children with arts and crafts, creative play, and educational activities. I am happy to help with light housekeeping. I maintain open communication with parents through daily reports and at pickup, always respecting your preferred method. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and I am certified in First Aid and CPR. More than anything, I hope to bring my calm energy and experience to your family and provide a safe and loving environment for your child to thrive.
