About Amanda

I tutor all ages mainly in subjects centered around English and the Humanities: language arts, reading, literature, writing, literacy, art, social studies, history. I love extra curricular! I can help with music, art, drama, and anything sports related. I can help with homework, as well as put together custom projects to meet your child's academic goals. I have my MLIS in Library & Information Science from SJSU, my BA in Liberal Studies and a minor in Sustainability from Cal State Northridge, and an AA in Journalism from Moorpark College. I am a certified California State Substitute Teacher, have a certificate in Social & Emotional Arts from UCLA's Arts & Healing program, and am first aid creditors from the American Red Cross. I am a forrest school teacher and offer nature based learning and therapy sessions as well.
