About Amanda

I have 11 years of experience in a variety of educational settings. The first two years were spent working in a childcare center. During my last semester at college, I worked in a before and after school program as a tutor. I also worked part-time as an ESL tutor for adult learners. This is my 9th year of teaching. In my first year, I taught first grade in a Catholic school in Philadelphia. I spent half of my second year as a part-time Academic Support Teacher in Haddonfield, NJ. While working in Haddonfield, I also worked as a tutor at a Learning Center. In February 2019, I was hired as an Elementary Teacher in Woodbury, NJ. In Woodbury I have taught both 2nd and 3rd Grade (all subjects) in both a General Education and Inclusion Classroom setting. Since 2025, I have been working as a 1st Grade teacher in East Greenwich. My favorite part of teaching is getting to know my students as individuals, and work with them to achieve personal goals. This is why tutoring is ideal work for me.
