About Amanda

Hello my name is Amanda aka Mandy! I have 2 of my own children (teenagers) and am looking for a side gig to make some extra cash. I've been a toddler teacher for many years and enjoy being creative, doing art activities and providing open-ended learning opportunities for my students. I love building relationships with my students and helping them develop their independence and creativity. I would describe myself as a nurturing loving person that loves to care for and help others. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, dancing and thrift store shopping with my children. I've been teaching preschool and toddlers since 2007 and have extensive babysitting experience. I have two teenagers of my own. I'm certified to teach infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I'm also team leader certified. I've worked with all age groups and genuinely love working with children.
